You upload the Word document. We publish the page, keep track of what's due, and look after the rest.
There's no website builder here and no blank pages. Every page a parish council needs already exists, built to WCAG 2.2 AA in the GOV.UK style, and the clerk's job is the same as emailing a document. Here's how that works, step by step.
- 1
- upload per meeting
- The agenda before, the minutes after, as Word documents
- 9
- pages, ready on day one
- Nothing to design, nothing to forget
- 7
- Transparency Code items tracked
- On your admin home, with what’s due next
- 0
- extras on the price list
- £299 a year, no VAT to add, is the whole price
1 · What you upload
The agenda before the meeting. The minutes after it.
As Word documents, the way you already write them. Choose the meeting and the date, and the document becomes a web page with the PDF alongside. No formatting, no converting, no uploading twice.
- Headings, numbered items, lists and tables come through as real headings, lists and tables
- Draft minutes are marked as draft until you approve them after the next meeting
- The PDF is generated from the same document, tagged, for anyone who wants a download
- Historic PDFs from your old site are listed in the same place, by year and committee
2 · What we publish
A web page that screen readers can read
This is the difference. A PDF saved from Word has no structure a screen reader can follow. A web page made from the same document does. It also works on a phone, which most residents are on.
The same page carries the agenda, the minutes, the papers and any decisions, so a resident looking for what the council said about the playground finds it in one place.
3 · What we remember
Your month, worked out from the meeting calendar
Give the admin your meeting dates and it tells you when each agenda is due, which minutes are waiting for approval, which notices expire and what the Transparency Code still needs, each with a button that takes you straight there. Nothing depends on anyone’s memory, including a new clerk’s.
- Agendas and minutes of every meeting
- Items of expenditure over £100
- End of year accounts and the annual governance and accountability return
- Annual governance statement and internal audit report
- Councillors and their responsibilities
- Public land and building assets
- Notices of meetings and of the public rights to inspect the accounts
The Code applies in full to councils with a turnover under £25,000. Larger parish councils publish much the same under the local audit regulations, and the checklist covers both.
4 · What we look after
Everything that isn’t the content
- Accessibility: built to WCAG 2.2 AA and tested on every change, with the statement written for you
- Hosting, HTTPS, security updates and daily backups
- Monitoring day and night, so we usually know before you do if anything is wrong
- Your .gov.uk domain and email records, coordinated with your registrar
- Free training for every new clerk, and support by email within one working day
- A full export of your pages and documents, any time, if you ever leave
Every page a parish council needs, and no blank ones
There’s no “new page” button, on purpose. Every page a parish council website needs already exists, so there’s nothing to design and nothing to forget. You fill in the facts; the site does the rest.
- Home, with your crest, a village photo and the next meeting
- Councillors, with roles, register of interests links and contact details
- Meetings: agendas, minutes and papers, by year and committee
- Finance: accounts, the annual return (AGAR), budget and precept, items over £100
- Notices, with a start and end date so they come down on their own
- Policies and documents, including the Transparency Code items
- Planning applications, linking to the district council’s portal
- Contact the clerk, with a form that works without JavaScript
- Accessibility statement and privacy notice, written for you

What we leave out, on purpose
No analytics, no cookie banner, no chat widget, no page builder, no themes. Residents get a site that loads fast and reads plainly. The clerk gets one job a month that takes the time it takes to email a document.
No cookies
Council sites set no cookies at all, so there’s no banner and nothing to explain in the privacy notice.
No themes
The GOV.UK look, your crest and your village photo. It looks like a council website because it is one.
No extras list
Every page type is included. Nothing on this page costs more than £299 a year, with no VAT to add.
Managed mailboxes
Coming later
Mailboxes tied to the councillor list, at £20 each a year. Until then we set up your email with a provider we recommend, as part of onboarding.
See your council on it, free.
Built with your content, in three working days. No setup fee, no obligation.
