Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal information we collect when you use www.parishpages.co.uk or contact us, why we collect it, and your rights.

Who we are
ParishPages is a trading name of GP Sites Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17535554. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us at hello@parishpages.co.uk. We’re registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under number ZC282352.
This notice is about our own marketing website. Each council website built on ParishPages will have its own privacy notice from that council.
What we collect
When you fill in our free preview, free website check or contact form, we collect:
- your name and email address
- your role, your council’s name and website address and, if you give them, your current supplier, when your contract ends and a phone number
- your message, and how you heard about us if you tell us
We don’t use analytics, so we don’t collect anything about how you browse the site.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to you, to build your preview or check your website if you’ve asked for that, and to follow up once afterwards. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries from councils. We don’t sell your details or add you to a mailing list.
To build a preview we copy public information from your council’s current website, because you’ve asked us to. The preview is private and is deleted if you decide not to go ahead.
Who we share it with
Form submissions are sent to our email inbox by Resend, an email delivery service. Our email is held in Microsoft 365. The website is hosted by Vercel. All three act on our instructions. Some of these services may process data outside the UK, under safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
The website itself doesn’t store your form. We keep the email it sends us, and our replies, for up to 12 months after we last hear from you, then delete them. If you become a customer, we keep what we need to run your contract for as long as it lasts and for 6 years afterwards, as UK tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@parishpages.co.uk. If you’re not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
